Our favorite 2024 design trends
Hello friends, today I am sharing some of our favorite new design trends that we are loving. Some of these trends have been in for some time and they are gaining even more popularity and some are new .
Sustainability: this trend is growing stronger than ever. We are seeing a growing emphasis on eco friendly and sustainable design practices,with a focus on using recycled materials,energy efficient solutions,and environmentally conscious furniture.
Biophilic Design: Integrating natural elements into interior spaces is also one of popular trends. Indoor live plants,plenty of natural light,and organic materials are used to create a connection with nature and enhance wellbeing.
Maximalism: We are slowly departing from mini list bare spaces and loving more layers lived in interiors gilded with bold colors,patterns,textures and lovely details that give out the feel of well lived spaces.
Tech integration: This is now a part of every project! Incorporating smart home technology had become a essential component of design. Including technology with functionality is nowadays one of the most important aspects of design as it is essential for comfortable home.
Mixed materials : We have crossed the boundary of using one metal finish throughout the entire home ,nowadays we are able to mix metals in such way that this combinations bring warmth and another layer of beauty in to the home. Designers are experimenting with wood and metals,different metal finishes together,glass and stone and much more. By doing so they are able to create visually interesting and dynamic spaces.
Curved furniture: Departing from the straight lines of modernist design,there has been resurgence of interest in curved and organic shapes in furniture and decor.
Global and cultural influences: Intergrating diverse cultural elements and global influences into interiors,celebrating diverse and uniqueness.
Home offices and flex spaces: With the rise of remote work,there has been an increased focus on creating designated home spaces and flexible multifunctional areas within homes.
Vintage and retro revival: This has been trending for quite some time and it’s still a very popular to thrift ,buy Facebook finds and other vintage sites.
California vibe design: This is fairly new trend featuring relaxed environments , light color stained wood furniture oftentimes with reeded textures. This new modern style is a mix of warm modernism and a boho chic style. It’s light, comfortable and unpretentious.
