Holiday season
Hello friends, here we are yet again upon hosting season.
If you are like me you are probably pulling out your best glassware and China that has been stowed away since last year’s holidays.
I get all giddy taking out my beautiful plates, my grandma’s hand made tablecloths (the only thing I rescued from her place) and it makes me feel like like I found a piece of myself again.
Over the years I have decorated many formal dining rooms, and yes I know that nowadays we love multitasking spaces, however I tend to lean towards traditional parts of our homes during special occasions.
This is the place where we reserve all practicality and indulge in more expensive furnishings and fabrics to create elegant and beautiful space that puts our best foot forward.
Wether that be our treasured family heirlooms, beautiful artwork or collectibles that we’ve acquired over the years, we love to display them in our best rooms that are off limits to everyday use.
Below are some of my favorites photos of our dining room decorating projects that we had pleasure to create here in Houston.
Decorating dining rooms is so rewarding, after designing these rooms I feel as though I’ve stepped into a precious jewel box that represents the elegant glamour that tradition offers us.
Let me know what your favorite things are that you cherish and keep in your dining rooms.
Cheers, Tatiana
